The Energy Agency is proud to announce that we were shortlisted for the 2014 UK Ashden Outstanding Achievement Award. The award, funded by the Coutts Foundation, is given to organisations who have directly delivered energy and financial savings to households in fuel poverty.
Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland - Area Base Scheme
The schemes aim to improve the energy efficiency of older, hard-to-treat properties that are owned or privately rented. Funds are being targeted at areas prioritised by Energy Company Obligation (ECO) legislation, which reflect the areas most in need.
Measures include: Solid Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Loft Insulation and Heating.
Householders who are rural, off mains gas and on a qualifying benefit are entitled to replacement or new heating system for oil, LPG and electric.

Local Energy Scotland Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES)
Local Energy Scotland is an independent network funded by Scottish Government established to help community groups become involved in community renewables, whether taking forward a community owned scheme or engaging in a large-scale commercial project. Click here to read more about CARES
NEW - Local Energy Challenge Fund
The Local Energy Challenge Fund has been established to invite demonstrator projects for new community low carbon energy systems, encouraging innovation in community projects in Scotland.

Home Energy Scotland renewables loan scheme
Interest free loans up to £10,000 from the Scottish Government are available for owner occupiers in Scotland who want to install a domestic renewables system or who wish to connect to a district heating scheme powered from a renewable energy source. To find out more click here
