We operate in the 4 local authority areas of South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway.
The area has a population of over 500,000 and around 250,000 households.
It is a predominately rural area with the main towns of Dumfries, Ayr, Prestwick, Kilmarnock and Irvine.
Tourism is an important industry as are the manufacturing and service sectors which are well developed in South West Scotland.
There is also a thriving small business community but there is scope for developing the growth of small to medium-sized enterprises.
