Funds are being targeted at areas prioritised by Energy Company Obligation (ECO) legislation, which reflect the areas most in need.

The scheme offers £500 grants towards new or replacement systems. The installer can be of the householder’s choice but must be Gas safe/Oftec or Select registered and must be installing an A+ rated system.
People who are over 60 and spend more than 10% of their income on fuel bills.
People with an income of up to £17,500 who do not receive benefits but who spend more than 10% on fuel bills.
People who are in Council tax band D-H and spend more than 10% of their income on fuel bills.

Householder needs to get 3 quotes and submit with the application form.
On receipt, Ruth will arrange to visit to check qualification and then give authorisation.
Householder then arranges install and lets Ruth know when invoice received. She will then arrange to view the new system and will pass invoice for grant payment. Money paid direct to bank account or by cheque, normally within 7 days.

Claim up to £1,300 through the Scottish Government’s HEEPS: Cashback scheme. Additional premiums are available to properties that are classified as being in a remote rural area of Scotland*.
The Scottish Government is offering owner occupiers, private and social tenants and registered private sector landlords a rebate towards installing eligible energy efficiency measures for properties that are in council tax bands A to C. The measures must be recommended in a pre-install Green Deal Advice Report for the property.
Funding is divided into categories with up to £500 available for installing a new boiler, up to £400 for insulation measures and up to £300 for other measures like draught proofing or secondary glazing. Funding was previously available for installing solid wall insulation but this has now been fully allocated. Additional premiums are also available to households which are classified as living in a remote rural area of Scotland. Applicants who install at least one eligible measure and claim funding through the scheme are also entitled to a maximum of £100 towards the cost of their Green Deal Advice Report.
The scheme is available on a first come, first served basis and is subject to available funding.

Warmer Homes Scotland is designed to help vulnerable people make their homes warmer and more comfortable by installing a range of energy saving measures. The Scottish Government is offering assistance to homeowners and private sector tenants struggling to heat their home, who have lived in their property for at least six months, and who meet the qualifying criteria.
The measures offered will depend on a survey of the property. If you have had assistance through a Government programme before, you can still apply for Warmer Homes Scotland if you meet the qualifying criteria. Assessors will recommend measures suitable for the property, including a range of insulation and heating measures, and in most cases costs will be met by the Scottish Government. There will be a need for customer contributions in some instances for certain more expensive measures, such as solid wall insulation. Potential measures include:

Apply for an interest free loan of up to £15,000 for installing a variety of measures such as solid wall insulation, double glazing or a new boiler.
The HEEPS Loan scheme is open to owner occupiers and registered private sector landlords in Scotland. . The repayment period varies based on the amount you intend to borrow but those taking out higher value loans will be able to pay back over 10 years.
