Salary £23,707 - £24,419 (SCP47 - 49) per annum plus contributory pension

The Energy Agency manages energy efficiency programmes on behalf of Dumfries and Galloway Council. This project is funded by the Council as part of its’ Tackling Poverty Strategy.
The project will assist fuel poor households throughout Dumfries and Galloway with in-home advice, referrals for energy saving measures and income maximisation, along with a budget for small works to assist the reduction of energy in the home where conventional national schemes are unavailable.
A Project Officer (PO) will be employed by the Energy Agency and based in Dumfries and Galloway. The PO will build up a caseload of clients who will be referred to the service from various routes including health, social work and housing.
The PO will work closely with all stakeholders including contractors, installers, office based staff and Council staff. The role involves assistance, lone working, team working, networking and administration skills.
