Home Energy Fair 2010 (26/08/2010)

Programme

The Fair is designed to provide information on a wide range of topics that benefit householders, communities and businesses. There will be various agency and trade stands with demonstration systems including:

· energy saving & energy efficiency    · solar    · wind    · small scale hydro    · heatpumps    ·wood fuel    · sustainable transport    · grants    

Bring your domestic energy questions along to one of the “Ask an Advisor” sessions running from 11am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 3pm.  Book a 10 minute appointment on your arrival. Spaces are limited so appointments will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

Take the chance to test your driving skills on an eco-driving simulator and see how efficient your driving is!  At the same time, enter a free national Energy Saving Trust prize draw to win a year’s car insurance up to the value of £600. 5 runner up prizes also available which consist of a Greener Motoring Kit including a year’s UK roadside breakdown cover, each worth up to £50. Prize Draw is open until midnight on 31/12/2010. All prizes courtesy of The Green Insurance Company. (Terms and conditions will apply)

There will also be informative presentations throughout the day and catering provided by Sodexho.

Free Admission and free Parking.   

A free biofuel shuttle bus, provided by Stagecoach, will ferry passengers to and from Ayr town centre to Auchincruive. Click here to view the timetable.
