It was our pleasure to welcome Acting Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy, Gillian Martin to Nethermills Hydro Scheme this week. Her visit was part of the Scottish Government’s Travelling Cabinet initiative, which brought the Cabinet to Ayr to discuss local issues and hear opinions from the community.
We were honoured that Cabinet Sectretary Martin chose to spend her time with us, providing a valuable opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our hydro scheme. We demonstrated the efficiency and sustainability of hydroelectric power and discussed the positive impact that schemes like Nethermills can have on Scotland’s journey to achieving net-zero emissions.
