Our Work

Outreach and Partnership Work

Through our delivery partners, and links to local agencies and local authorities, our Partnerships Officer and wider team are working hard to map local climate action and connect to local community groups.

Whether you are an established or aspiring group, whether you’re working in climate, nature or sustainability already, eager to get involved but not sure how to start … or perhaps not even sure why you should – we want to connect with you!

We’re particularly hoping to identify gaps in participation and representation in community climate action, actively help new groups to get started, and support participation from underrepresented groups.

Community Climate Forum

Our bi-monthly Community Climate Forum is an opportunity for groups and individuals from across the region interested in community climate action to come together. We hear from a range of guest speakers and offer a space for networking, peer-to-peer learning and sharing best practice.

These forums are an opportunity to bring ideas, suggestions, feedback and questions to the Ayrshire Climate Hub, as well as share what you’ve been working on or hope to work on with the wider forum community.

Community Climate Forum Dates:

Our forums aim to provide an opportunity for networking, peer-to-peer learning and sharing best practices and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

Check back soon for next dates

We would like to have a guest speaker at each of our forums so If anyone would like to volunteer, please let us know by sending an email to ClimateHub@energyagency.org.uk

Partnership Project Showcases

Showcasing the work of projects within the partnership and other community climate action happening around the region, these project showcases are an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the amazing grassroots work led from the ground up, in and by communities.

if you’re new to community climate action – then come along, learn about what’s going on in Ayrshire already, be inspired and take away some ideas on how to get started in your own group and local community.
