Energy lessons for primary school pupils on energy-saving behavior
Involvement in Community Planning Partnership and Single Outcome Agreement work with some of our local councils
Delivering partnership funded community projects in local areas and managing energy projects on behalf of local councils
Offering Professional Development training in aspects of energy saving to Council staff and others
Providing a range of bespoke staff and Elected Member training opportunities to assist local authorities in achieving their carbon reduction aims
Advising local councils on the potential benefit to their work and areas of ECO
Joint working with local council departments on providing energy advice to the public from Council offices
The Energy Agency in partnership with South Ayrshire Council and Scottish & Southern Energy delivered the Hadyard Hill Community Energy Project within the communities of Dailly, Barr, Pinwherry and Pinmore. The project won the international Ashden Award in 2008. Click on the film to find out more.
