Home Energy Scotland

Home Energy Scotland is an advice service funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Energy Saving Trust. The Energy Agency operates the Home Energy Scotland South West advice centre which covers Ayrshire, Arran, and Dumfries & Galloway.

The friendly and knowledgeable local team provides customers with free and impartial advice on saving energy, keeping warm, using renewable energy for the home, cutting water waste, and more.

If you are struggling to heat your home, you could be eligible for support from the Scottish Government-funded Warmer Homes Scotland programme to help make your home warmer and cosier.

The services that Home Energy Scotland can provide for households in Scotland include:

  • Advice on how to reduce energy usage at home and lower bills

  • Support for private sector landlords, including information on grants and funding
